"The Rowdy Crowd is a student organization at Southeast Missouri State University focused on cheering on the REDHAWKS. Our job is to promote the student fan base for Southeast Missouri State Athletics. We know that a dedicated fan base has a huge impact on the outcome of every game.  Our goal is to motivate students to lead our teams to victory. We work closely with the sports marketing department, so we have many exciting plans for the upcoming year. This webpage is just another way to communicate and to provide valuable information to the Redhawks fans. Be sure to join the Rowdy Crowd to stay informed!"

Joining the Rowdy Crowd

Joining Rowdy Crowd is easy. You don’t have to worry about buying any tickets or a pass.  All Southeast Missouri State students get into every athletic event FREE with their student ID. To join the Rowdy Crowd you can sign up on our facebook page.  You could also just look for us at athletic events, we will always have a sign up sheet at every game.

Rowdy Crowd Rules

Wear RED to every game! - Wear your Rowdy Crowd shirt, Redhawks apparel from the Southeast Bookstore, or paint yourself RED!

Get ROWDY and be LOUD! - Don't just go through the motions. When you're at a game, get into it! If other students and supporters see you getting excited they will get excited too. We are there to cheer on the Redhawks AND your attendance is felt at the games!

Stand up! - When the game is in play, there should never, ever, be anyone sitting in the student section!  Sit at halftime and during timeouts, but otherwise get on your feet and cheer!

Never ever leave early! - Always stay until the end, no matter what. You never know what can happen. Plus, leaving early shows disrespect to our teams and it just plain looks bad.

Support the Cheerleaders & Sundancers! - The cheerleaders & sundancers are there to help get the crowd involved in the game. If they start a cheer, FOLLOW IT!!! They make your job a lot easier.
